Energy Standards for dwellings:

Building Energy Standards are changing ever more frequently in order to reduce the amount of CO2 being produced by our buildings.

Part L of the Building Regulations 2011 states in section 2:

The Use of Renewable Energy Technologies

Each New dwelling should have a minimum of 10kWhr/m2/yr for hot water heating or 4kWhr/m2/yr for electical energy, suppied from renewable technologies.

Ground Floors                                      0.21     (underfloor heating 0.15)
